The Royal Order of the Majestic Sun (Twi: OdehyeÆ·OnimuonyamfuorAwia), a dynastic Order of Merit in the sub-national Kingdom of New Sawereso-Seinuah, is the third highest Order of the kingdom.

On 8 Oct 2021, H.R.M. Osahene Kwaku Aterkyi II, Paramount Chief of the Kukuom Traditional Area in the Ahafo Region of the Republic of Ghana, assented to the creation of the Order. The Grandmaster for the Order is and shall be the Divisional Chief of New Sawereso-Seinuah, in perpetuity, who may award the Order and its Grades for the development of the kingdom; the current Grandmaster is H.M. Duah III.

Grades of the Order

The Order is awarded in the following grades:

* The style indicate precedes the title "Knight" for all grades of the Order (i.e., "The Honourable Knight").

Recipients of the Order

In accepting the Order, no grant of noble status is conferred upon the recipient. At the discretion of the Grandmaster, the recipient may receive the Order as a hereditary honour.

The Recipient's Spouse and Children

There is no courtesy title or grant of style for the lawful spouse and children of the recipients of the Order.

Heraldic Rights

At the rank of Grand Collar, recipients of the Order may display the collar of the Order surrounding the personal armorial achievement. If the personal armorial achievement consists of mantling, placement of the Grand Collar either in front of or behind the mantling is at the individual recipient's discretion.

At the rank of Grand Cross, recipients of the Order may display two mmaas (Twi: sing., abaa; a cane carried by a chief or chieftain as a symbol of authority and respect) in saltire behind the whole of the personal armorial achievement. The recipient may also have supporters.

At the rank of Grand Officer, recipients of the Order may have supporters.

At the rank of Commander, recipients of the Order may display the escutcheon (shield) of the arms of the Order as an inescutcheon within the escutcheon of the personal armorial achievement.

At the rank of Knight or Dame, recipients of the Order may drape the Insignia of the Order from the escutcheon (shield) of the personal armorial achievement.
